I just tried a new way to eat nectarines and it tasted so amazingly wonderful that I thought I would share it here. Nectarines are in season right now, so if you would like a new way to enjoy this fruit, run out and get yourself some. All I did was take a spoon and scoop out chunks of the nectarine into a bowl. Then, I sprinkled cinnamon all over the chunks. It tasted wonderful! Even my boys who said they hated nectarines before, loved this! Has anyone ever tried this before?
It is a great way to get kids to eat a new fruit. It's also very healthy because cinnamon is very good for you. It has been proven to help people with diabetes because it reduces fasting blood glucose levels. It also can aid in lowering cholesterol levels.
