Sharon Osbourne is returning to the "X-Factor" to serve as one of the show's judges while judge Dannii Minogue goes out on maternity leave.
Problems With Minogue
According to Newsoxy, Osbourne was a judge on the talent show "X-Factor" from 2004 to 2007. Aft
er four seasons she left the show, admitting that she had problems getting along with Minogue.
"I didn't enjoy working with her at all and didn't fancy the prospect of spending six months sitting next to her," Osbourne said.
Sharon Osbourne is presently also serving as a judge on the American version of the same show, "America's Got Talent." Both shows are produced by Simon Cowell of "American Idol" fame.
Guest Mentor for Louis Walsh
PerezHilton.com reports that filming for the new season will begin sometime next week in Ireland, and that Osbourne will be serving as "the guest mentor for judge Louis Walsh."
Walsh expects some shenanigans to take place during Sharon Osbourne's brief return to the show.
A friend of Louis' told PerezHilton.com the following.
"Sharon knows she's only back briefly and is determined to stir things up and make mischief. She wants to have fun and make her mark on this year's show. Louis is absolutely delighted that Sharon is coming back. They are great pals off screen and work well together."
Sharon Osbourne is indeed fun as a judge on "America's Got Talent" and will no doubt step up to the plate in a likewise manner for "X-Factor." She does, however, have that hint of impish troublemaker that lurks just beneath her ladylike surface, that indicates Sharon could indeed stir things up, should she decide to do so. There is little doubt, however, that she would do so with both style and grace!
