Oksana is furious after a Los Angeles judge has ordered Mel and Oksana to share custody of baby Lucia. Also, when Lucia turns one on October 30TH, Gibon's custodial rights will increase to 40 percent.  “Oksana is furious... she is convinced Mel is not fit to be alone with Lucia,†said a source, close to the situation, according to TMZ.
Mel certainly won
this round, and Oksana is fit to be tied. She has tried to convince the world that Mel Gibson was a danger to Lucia, but obviously this Los Angeles judge didn't buy it. Mel gets to see his daughter, and that's wonderful. There is another court hearing on the matter in October, but will Oksana fair any better? It is unlikely. She went after Gibson so publicly that she may have used up all her cards, and has not proven anything.

That must have convinced the judge that Oksana is all about the money. She loses. She reneged on the deal, but the judge ordered it to stay in effect, and then, increased Mel's visitation to 40 percent.
Mel denies accusations that he hit Oksana knocking out her veneers. Not many believe her, because if he punched her that hard, her face and mouth would be all bruised. She just had her veneers knocked off, so she's just not believable.

Whether Oksana is all about the money or not is no reason to punish the child by allowing unchaperoned custody to a drunkard father.
"innocent until proben guilty" ... that's in a court of law.
As for me, my opinion is he may not be guilty of everything she accuses him of, but he is a drinker and this isn't the first time he's been in the news for things he's done while drunk.
It could be ... his other children are older mm? It could be his drinking was not as much of a problem before, and is just now hitting a climax of some kind.
He's a big star and probably has (should have?) a bevy of media buffers who try to cover for him and keep this kind of thing out of the news ... so if it's leaking out (like the Jew thing and this thing with Oksana) it must be at a point it can't be controlled.
Plus ... until 2009 he had the influence of his first wife, and the children had her as a buffer and backup for Mel. She may also have covered for him with them? Another thing I just learned, Mel is bipolar ... and doesn't that sometimes manifest more strongly the older one gets?
He may not be naturally the jerk I first thought, but he's got a lot going against him and until he at least gets his drinking under control (which he's been struggling with for some time now?), I don't think he should have exclusive or unchaperoned custody of a small child.
