Fred Armisen and Abby Elliot, both of SNL fame, are said to be the newest dating couple in the NYC limelight. Fred Armisen and wife of 10 months Elisabeth Moss just called it quits. Fred Armisen certainly wasted no time finding a replacement!
Amicable Split with Moss
According to the Huffington Post, the split between Armisen and Moss was "completely amicable" and that yes, 
the Saturday Night Live funny man has in fact been dating SNL funny girl Abby Elliott.
It seems that Fred and Abby had known each other for years, even prior to working together on SNL, since Abby is the daughter of former SNL actor Chris Elliott. Fred sought comfort from Abby following his break up with Elisabeth and now the two are romantically involved.
There is quite an age difference between Armisen and Elliott, with Armisen being 43, and Elliot 20 years his junior.
New Love
The Washington Post reports that the relationship between Fred Armisen and Abby Elliott is fairly new, and that no repercussions or hard feelings are anticipated on behalf of Elisabeth Moss.
Armisen and Elliott are hilarious SNL actors, and will hopefully utilize that sense of humor in their relationship. Whether it's a lasting union or simply a short-term fling, humor can serve to smooth the waters and lighten the burdens that everyone bears. It will certainly be interesting to see where this relationship between Fred Armisen and Abby Elliott may lead.
