True Blood fans better get ready for the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Vampires aren't only thirsty for blood it seems they have something else on their agenda as well.
On newsstands this Wednesday, the sexy vampy issue will out. According to actor Stephen Moyer, who plays vampire Bill Compton says that vampires have a very large sexual appetite. He also said this:
"If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before. It's a de-virginization -- breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive."
The creator of the show, Alan Ball agrees with Moyer. He says:
"To me, vampires are sex. I don't get a vampire story about abstinence. I'm 53. I don't care about high school students. I find them irritating and uniformed."
The main stars, Anna Paquin (Sookie), Stephen Moyer (Bill) and Alexander Skaarsgard (Eric) embrace the cover of the magazine naked with blood all over them. For pics click here.
The cover is a bit racy, but goes well with the show and what it is about. The creator not understanding a vampire story about abstinence and teens is a bit absurd though. They are vampires yes, but not ready for that level of intimacy in most cases. True Blood though however is more grown up and can handle these types of story lines.
