There are many places to sit scattered throughout the Grounds for Sculpture. Some are stone, some are actual chairs, some are wood... and, of course, there's grass, too. Not many "roped off" areas here!
The landscapes are as varied as the seating choices. One minute you'll be next to manicured rose bushes, and the next, in a bamboo forest.
We came across a little amphitheater, and scattered throughout were pieces of a collective work entitled "Five Tigers".
All of the tigers are in different poses...
...and different places...
...as if they're prowling around the area.
They're simply done, but effectively!
The artist, Gwynn Murrill, really captures that essence of cat.
Keep an eye out for the individual photos I'm posting, and stay tuned for Part IV, coming soon!
