I almost hit someone today with my car. Oh my gosh, it scared me to death! I went to Sonic because I live for their "Happy Hour" where all drinks are half price. I was minding my own business, pulling in to my parking spot. As I was pulling in, one of the servers decides to cut across the sidewalk and into the parking spot. I don't even think she saw me at all! I slammed on my brake as fast as I could. She didn't even notice! I was just sitting there, looking at her, with a quizzical, "WHAT THE HECK?!" look. I didn't get any satisfaction from my look though because she never even saw me! She seemed to be in a daze. I feel sorry for her though. It can't be an easy job to work outside in 102 degree weather! I am so thankful that I did not actually hit her. I could never forgive myself if I did something like that, even if it was her fault for not looking.
