This weekend, Tila Tequila was attacked by concert goers at the Gathering of Juggalos festival in Illinois. Check out the video below of the now infamous incident. Tila Tequila was not only booed by the crowd but was pelted with bottles, rocks, and human feces.
Performing at the music festival wasn't the smartest move on Tequila's part. After all, she was going on before Insane Clown Posse of all acts. Enough said. Violent J, half of the Posse duo, claims he warned Tila Tequila ahead of time that she might be targeted and attacked by the crowd. "We told her about the rumor and she didn’t care," Violent J told TMZ. He also assured her that if she left the stage, she'd still get paid.
Despite the warning, Tila Tequila failed to listen to reason and instead performed her single "I F----- the DJ" for the rowdy audience, insisting she wasn't "a b----- like that" and wouldn't be leaving the stage. Classing her song up even more, the wannabe rapper performed topless, but still got a negative reception. (Too bad silicone isn't enough to disguise terrible music.)Â Now Tila Tequila is claiming she's the victim of an "unorganized" and "violent" music festival. Watch her recount of the incident here.
Clearly the crowd was crazy and their actions were uncalled for. But if the situation went down the way Violent J claims, shouldn't Tila Tequila have known what she was getting into? Even without the warning, common sense should have told her not to perform at a festival with Insane Clown Posse. Is she really the victim she claims to be? Or is this just another one of Tila Tequila's antics to get (negative) attention?
