Here's Part II of my recent trip to the Grounds for Sculpture sculpture garden in Hamilton, NJ. You can find Part I here!
Moving on...
The Grounds can be very interactive.

Jacob had never been before, and he was having a great time exploring the place.
The weather wasn't sunny, but that meant that it stayed cooler.

Can you see the dancing women over the tops of the trees?
Nearby, there were a few sculptures grouped together. They were titled Termite Hills, and I could see why.

After exploring that area, we took a path, bordered by trees, to see what else there was to find.

I can only imagine how many groundskeepers this place must have!
We ended up near the Rats restaurant, which some of you may remember from my review. We didn't stop to eat, though-- it's quite expensive!

Rats has the best setting, though.

(Even if the head is a little creepy, perhaps.)
The gardens there were particularly colorful.

There was a memorial placque to the first horticulturist for the place. He had died young, in his 30s, if I remember correctly.
He certainly leaves behind a legacy.

Stay tuned for Part III!

It's also cool, because going there, there are sculptures scattered through the town along the way. I actually found out about it because I passed these huge heads along the side of a highway to get to the barn, and I finally decided to take the exit and see what it was all about, lol.
This is a fascinating sculpture garden. I would love an opportunity to explore it fully.
...although that head is kinda creepy.
