Cardiologists speak. They propose offering cholesterol-lowering statin drugs to be taken right along with your order of burgers and fries to offset the negative effects these foods have on cardiovascular health. That’s right, these pills would be available just for the taking, pick them up and eat them like candy.
Well folks choose your poison, “While statins were generally safe they could increase the risk of muscle weakness and, in rare cases, of kidney failure, cataracts and liver problems.â€

Not everything needs a drug. And people have the right to eat whatever they please.
On the other hand, many things do need a drug. I refuse to give up my anti-diabetic medication because I wouldn't last three days without it.
Big drug companies love to scare people
into taking more pills.
More pills, more money.
It's the hydrogenated oils that are a mistake of science. Stay way from that! That should be banned!
