I got together with a friend to see the Picasso exhibit at the Met museum. I totally forgot that I'd already seen it in June (remembered as soon as I entered the museum, though). Going to a museum WITH a friend is a totally different experience. We seem to like and react to the same pieces with similar comments so it's very enjoyable. The exhibit closes this weekend and was extremely crowded! That was a distraction. Interestingly, one of the pieces he liked the most had been made into a post card - so that was his only purchase.
After he went home, I went across town to UNO's Pizza restaurant. They have the wonderful thin crust pizza I like - spinach, feta, eggplant! The crust is so thin, it's like a cracker! I had their great (high calorie...) cookie for dessert - it's topped with ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate sauce and baked to order. Oh, boy is it tasty!!!
All in all a good day!
