colon cleansing?

There's lots of stuff advertised to "cleanse the colon" and apparently big bucks to be made from it. If you ever had to do a prep for a barium swallow or a barium enema, you know these are not fun things to do. And doing the prep for the colonoscopy isn't a day in the park, either..

But apparently Demi Moore is really committed to this kind of thing....

I was reading online about how they actually sell colonic beds made a certain way so that you can stay in the best position for it to work for a longer period of time. Isn't that just a form of Bulimia though really?
