Donna Karan played host to a dressed-down crowd at last weekend's screening of, “The Big C,†held at her East Hampton home. The Showtime series’ cast includes Laura Linney, Gabourey Sidibe and Oliver Platt who were all in attendance.
Sarah Jessica Parker was the picture of laid-back chic in a Donna Karan taupe jacket. The soft crepe, the length and the generous pockets just added appeal to the garment which actually grew prettier the longer you looked at it. Underneath, Sarah Jessica wore a very short, grey CnC dress. Dropping her, stiletto-wearing, “Carrie,†persona, the actress chose a pair of beach-appropriate flat sandals.
Laura Linney plays Cathy Jamison, the lead character in, “The Big C.†For the event she wore a one-shouldered, short, red vintage Valentino dress. She paired it with nude kitten heels.
“The City’s,†Olivia Palermo showed off her fashion chops by combining fashion forward with casual. This time, she wore a Susan Woo cut-out shoulder top in bright red. She matched it with a belted, floral mini and two-tone ballet flats in tan and red. Whitney Port fans may be irked by the face of Elle.com but Olivia does know how to choose an outfit.
