If you live in Cleveland and you are a Browns fan, here is the positive news. In 2008 the Browns won 4 games, in 2009 they won 5. How about 6 or more in 2010?
The Browns have not made the playoffs since 2002 when they finished the season 9-7 and made a wildcard spot.
But this season the Mike Holmgren era has begun.
One of Holmgren’s first moves was bringing in veteran QB Jake Delhomme, who was released by Carolina at the end of last season. The only question is, does Delhomme have anything left in the tank?
If Cleveland can run the ball behind Jerome Harrison, who led the team last season with 862 yards, that can help open up a passing game that has been non existent for the Browns lately. As a team, the Browns rushing offense was one of their strong points last season. They averaged 130.4 yards per game on the ground, eighth best in the league.
All teams start at 0-0 so anything is always possible, can the Browns return to playoff glory this season?
Can Big Mike turn around the Browns??
