Imagine no religion!

What got me thinking was a shot of the Twin Towers in NYC with a caption underneath that simply said; "Imagine no religion!"

After having this thought percolate in the back of my mind for most of the morning I suddenly knew what could make that happen.

We need to get visited by UFO's kids!

(I don't mean the bullshit sightings and pictures we hear about everyday that show an out of focus cup and saucer........, but rather a genuine, no nonsense Space Ship parking itself on the White House lawn and Little Green Men coming out!)

The first thing this would do is immediately cast doubt on the faith of a lot of people.

And then, when the "Aliens" tell us that God and religion is nothing like what we were deluding ourselves with here on Earth, there would be a world wide revolution in thinking, and folks would finally start to get sensible!

Think of all the stuff that would become stupid because ya couldn't blame it on religion!

Of course I realize that this would be taking comfort and security away from a lot of ordinary people, not to mention seriously upsetting mothers who had son's that blew themselves up as suicide bombers, and really dissapointed those same bombers when they found out that there weren't 72 virgins waiting for them!

But what the hell, ya live............ ya learn! Right?
