to burn out than fade away? "Burn out" to me means the complete and utter destruction of something while "fade away" to me implies some measure of the original item is still there...
plus when I say "I'm burned out from work" that's not a pleasant feeling.....when I say "I'm fading" I need to get some rest...
or maybe I'm just thinking too much about this...
