Yes, it can help. The better you are at tweeting, and the more popular your subject, the more of an increase one generally sees.

It has always worked, up until recently. I always twitter and facebook my posts, as well as posts of others. Immediately my posts would get 25 to 35 views. I've noticed this past week this no longer occurs and have watched it on my own posts as well as when twittering other's posts ... nope, no view jump anymore. And I just today got a twitter comment from a friend suggesting they are being filtered out... I hope someone here at Gather can address this issue and explain it to me.
