I am already receiving cards from people like my eye doctor and dentist. Today I got a really nice card from the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, signed by the Tribal President. I also got one from a merchandising company that I work for.
I was going to scan and upload an image of the card from the tribe, but realized that it is not my material to share. So I will tell you that the image on it is by Carole Ayers, and the name of the picture is "His Father's Pride". If I can find a link to her work I will post the link.
You might ask why the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma would send me a birthday card, and I will tell you it is because I submitted an application, tracing my heritage, and joined. I would like to go to some of the tribal functions later on, and I have always been proud of my Native American heritage, even though it is very slight.
My grandmother was registered on the final Dawes rolls in 1907 or 08. I plan to upload and share a little about her. She died at the age of 100.

*dances around in little circles* hehe, i'm a happy me because i have always wanted to talk to a Native American and this is the closest that i have ever come.
Thats made me smile that has :) i've always had an interest in Native American's, so i'm quiet happy today.
My b'day is next month, too. We share our birthday month with a lot of people. I think it's the most popular month for birthdays in the northern areas of the world.
