A “Free Lindsay†rally was held on Tuesday at the Beach Bum Tanning salon in New York City. The rally, which was held at the 7th Avenue location, was in protest of Lindsay Lohan’s jail sentence. Lindsay and her family are apparently regular customers at Beach Bum Tanning salon.
The “Free Lindsay†rally is not the first “get a celebrity out of jail†even held by Beach Bum Tanning. The salon also hosted a protest rally back in 2007 when Paris Hilton was in the same predicament.
According to the press release from Beach Bum:
“The salon hopes its campaign will draw awareness to the harsh punishment inflicted on Lohan due to her celebrity status and that she will be released from jail before her 90 day sentence reaches completion. Beach Bum has pointed out that Lohan was ordered to serve twice the time Paris Hilton was sentenced back in 2007 for a similar probation violation... The owners of Beach Bum miss seeing her at the salon and hope for her speedy return.â€
Because apparently, celebrities have to have sentences similar to other celebrities in order for them to seem fair. Celebrities cannot be treated like regular people. (Especially if the celebrities are regular customers at certain tanning salons.)
It’s doubtful that the rally will be successful at getting Lindsay out of jail any earlier than she would without it. But, was the rally really about Lindsay’s freedom? Or was it an attempt for Beach Bum Tanning salon to get free advertising courtesy of Lindsay Lohan’s plight?

Lindsay Lohan needs to be in jail for her own good.
She has no respect for the law or herself.
If Lindsay continues on her path of drugs and alcohol, she will die.
The time in jail will hopefully open her bloodshot eyes.
If not, then Lindsay is in trouble.
