Instead of battling each other for Sookie Stackhouse's love, this time the Vamps are doing something for the human race.
Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill Compton on HBO's True Blood) and Alex Skarsgard (Vamp Eric Northman) are competing to raise money for two great causes.Â
The "Battle of the Fangs"...
The Vamp who gets the most donations in his name will be the winner.
Moyer will be donating his money towards the BP Gulf oil Spill, and Skarsgard is donating his money towards different children's charities.
Now who said humans and vampires can't get along?
According to True Blood's Nest, thus far, Team Bill, with $8,705 in donations, is leading the contest against Team Eric's $7,166 in donations. Team Eric fans better get busy, as the contest will end after the final episode of the season airs in September. (As of today, the final episode is scheduled to air on September 12, 2010.)
