This guy has to be the most underrated player in the NFL.
When Wes Welker went down to a torn ACL in his left knee before the Pats playoff game vs. Baltimore, it put the Pts in a bad position.
Welker has been a very important part of the offense for New England over the last three years.
He was Tom Brady's go to guy, even more then Randy Moss, especially in a must have first down situation. He set career highs with 123 catches and 1,348 receiving yards in 2009, and he can just flat out run. You can't teach speed, and let me tell you, I don't know where Wes got it, but he can fly!
The Patriots will need a healthy Wes Welker if they want to make some noise this year in the AFC.
Not to mention a healthy and motivated Randy Moss. Any team with Brady, Moss, and Welker is always a threat to to go to the playoffs.
