Alright, fangbangers! There is some news out today about the next season of True Blood. Yes, that is even scheduled to be out until next summer, but HBO wanted to give everyone a little something to look forward to for next year.
What is that little something? Well, to start off with, it isn't that little! Joe Manganiello has been kept on by the series and made a series regular for next season. Looks like the plan was to originally have him off after this season. His immediate popularity is keeping him around.
This series doesn't seem to go by the plot put forth to it by the book series it follows. Lafayette is one character that was given life long after they were around in the book series.
Joe Manganiello seems to have won fans over as Sookie's new protector. Will things continue to heat up as time goes on? Will Sookie return to Bill Compton? That all remains to be seen. Just earlier this week, Joe Manganiello appeared in the August issue of Muscle and Body Magazine. What do you think? Are you happy with the addition to the True Blood cast? What Sookie Stackhouse, Southern Vampire Mysteries books did you get that piece of information from? Alcide Herveaux is very much alive right through the most recent (10th) Harris book.
