White pumpkins

About seven years ago I saved seeds from a white pumpkin. This year was the first time I had a place to plant them. I only planted two hills, but they are taking over my backyard. They are climbing over a container of lilies . And you can see the foliage is really thick. The flowers are bright yellow and I would have a ton of pumpkin, if they al were pollinated. The leaves are huge, much larger than dinner plates. So far, I only have on pumpkin that I can find hiding in my jungle.

We've had the white pumpkins around here for a few years but they are quite expensive. Yours looks like it is growing very well!

I probably got the one I had at the end of the season, I do not remember. The first one I ever saw smelled kind of like cantaloupe when it was cut.

Very cool! The weather is sohathere, everything is having a problem growing. And anyone in their right mind stays out of the daytime heat. I can't wait until it starts to cool off so I can spend more time in my yard.
