Mom Kills Kids, She Wants Normal Ones

This story is upsetting.  It is about a mother who has two young children ages two and five.  Her son was five and her daughter was two.  Both of her children were autistic.  She wanted to be rid of them and she wanted normal children.

This mother tried to get her two children to drink bathroom cleaner but they would not swallow it.  She then found a wire and strangled them.  Her son was pronounced dead at the hospital and her daughter was on life support until taken off on Wednesday.

She did not want children with autism.  She did not want to deal with the problems her children had anymore.  She wanted normal children and now she is charged with capital murder.  There is nothing more horrendous than a mother killing her own children.

Children with autism can be challenging from the time they wake up until the time they fall asleep at night.  There is a part of these children that were innocent not just by their age but by their autism.  This is truly a heartbreaking story of two innocent children taken way too soon.

There is help for those who have children with autism.  There are services and treatments that can be of great assistance to the families.  She did not have to kill them she just did not have to kill them.
