Hocking Hills 7-2010

I've been off line for a while because I was camping and busy with other things. I actually have several posts, and I don't think I can get to all of them today.

When we got there we set up and played around. We did go swimming in the campgrounds pool. The next day we went tot he lodges pool, it was nicer.

We also rested some as we

waited for more people to arrive.

By that night Jim, his son Chris, Deana and Eric, Mike, Renae, and James had joined us. We played are you a werewolf and ate dinner.

The next morning after breakfast we went on a hike to the rock house. It was really beautiful and the guide, Pat Quackenbush, was very well informed with the local areas plants, and history.

Looks like you guys had a great time! ^_^
We did rustle up the gas money to go... but then I got called into work in the middle of the night Friday and ended up being awake for a total of 37 hours straight... so traveling was a no-go.

Oh, that's the best part... I got called in because the manager didn't answer the phone. I was there for an hour, then got sent home when the manager finally got up to speed on what was going on. Then, I had to be back at work a few hours later for my regular shift... so I didn't get back to sleep even though I tried.

I swear, we will try to find a way to get to do something with you guys, if not during the short rest of the summer, then this fall.

My son Chris said to me this year, that he'd love to go camping...
He doesn't know though, he probably wouldn't like it. Lol!
He's Autistic. And, I really don't think he'd like sleeping on the ground.
I couldn't even get him to be comfortable sleeping at his own grandparents house.
But, I guess one day it would be worth a try.
