A 'Gathering' of Friends

Yesterday was the best day I have had in a very long time. A small group of my Gather friends got together at Sandra H.'s house. For the first time I got to meet Sandra H.,Gul Dixon,Pam S., Fancy C.,Mark and Sammi.  She graciously welcomed us into her home. Fed us, waited on us and sent us home with lots of goodies! Thank you Sandy! And Thank you Gul and your husband for taking me along for this memorable adventure!

We celebrated Sammi's birthday.

A day of Fun,Food, Family, and Lots of Laughter.  Life is good when you have Friends and Family to share it with. Thanks Gather for bringing these wonderful friends into my Life.

That is so nice. It would be wonderful to meet other Gather members. I don't think I have any near me though. I think it is so great you got to meet everyone.

Thanks Rae. I live a little over 2 hours from Sandy. Gul lives an hour from me here in Virginia. So, it wasn't to far for us.

Hi Olive. Gul and Fancy had already met Sandy before. Fancy is there on vacation and staying nearby Sandy's house. We have been talking about this for months. I am lucky that Gul lives not to far from me and offered to bring me on this trip.

Wow, Kim! How absolutely wonderful!!!! I'm just thrilled that you all got to meet....and at Sandy's house......what a wonderful time that would be! I love the photo of the rose.....it's elegant!

Fancy had been planning to spend her and Mark's vacation with Sandra months agp. Gul had already met Sandra back in April and had planned to be back to meet Fancy. Sandra told Gul I lived close. So Gul and her wonderful husband drove an hour out of their way to pick me up. The rest is history,lol.
