Check out Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern Costume for New Movie! (Photos)

Hot, hot, hot!  Ryan Reynolds, star of popular movies such as National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, appearing in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle and The In-laws, and also starring in Waiting…, and The Amityville Horror (remake) and my personal favorite, Just Friends, to name a few. Now, Ryan Reynolds will star as Hal Jordan aka the Green Lantern in his newest upcoming movie produced by Warner Brother’s Entertainment, Green Lantern, to be released June 17, 2011 (Wikipedia).

Ryan Reynolds’ new Green Lantern costume was featured on the front cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine. Reynolds has not been seen advertising for his movie previously in costume due to the fact that the Green Lantern costume will be majorly computer generated. He has been spotted previously wearing a very fuzzy ring on his finger. The ring generates power to transform Ryan Reynolds from everyday guy Hal Jordan to superhero Green Lantern!

Ryan Reynolds will be featured in his Green Lantern costume on the front cover of the July 16 issue of EW for the special tribute feature to preview this year’s Comic-Con festival.

 

What do you think of the Green Lantern costume on Ryan Reynolds? The movie crew appears to have carefully added the specific details of the Green Lantern’s superhero costume through digital imaging for the movie and the initial results look fantastic. The later movie previews will bring additional insight into how well the Green Lantern costume is modeled after original comic drawings of the Green Lantern. I think Ryan Reynolds looks better than the original!
