In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the presidency, the group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College . Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking. Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as President article titled, "Obama Eligibility Questioned," leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K. In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.
Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U..S. Attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter...

Do you still believe your source on this was credible? I've given you 12 different blogs (including gather) that quoted this exact post as long as two years ago,
I've shown that AP and Fox News have NO RECORDS of this "AP Article" ever being printed, and neither have any records of this case.
I showed you the actual Supreme Court decision throwing the case this was based on out almost two years ago..
Not one news source has followed up on this that I have seen. Have you?
Has the blog (sorry, "reputable news source" you can not reveal but isn't any of the top 25 IN THE WORLD 'cuse you can check those with LexisNexis, and I did, and none of them carried this INCREDIBLE story) followed up with it?

The claim is that Obama received a Fulbright scholarship for foreign students, proving that he is not a U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be president. Supposedly this was reported by The Associated Press. But the claim is false and the story is a hoax.

We contacted The Associated Press just to confirm what should be obvious, that no such news story ever appeared on the news agency’s wires. Jack Stokes, the AP’s manager of media relations, gave us this statement:

Furthermore, the group that the fake story credits with gaining release of the supposed "smoking gun" documents is also a fake. Searches of news accounts and Internet sites showed no trace of any group called "Americans for Freedom of Information," until recently. On May 6 such a group did appear, but only as a joke to make fun of anyone who had fallen for the April Fools’ Day gag. I have found 2 lawsuits in supreme court against obama from 2 different lawyers, so you know nothing....1 is on video with the actual supreme court docket, the other on a website of the lawyer running the case. Nonetheless, that person is a citizen, and natural born by virtue of not having to apply for citizenship. The Birth Certificate will do.

Jim is also right since the SCOTUS has avoided a ruling on what constitutes a Natural Born Citizen, However the men who wrote that understood it to mean a person with two parents who were citizens of US. The reason for Natural born is they didn't want a person with loyalties to another country holding the office of President. A dual citizen such as BO would be that kind of person.

Having not met in our non-existent office, we decided that the world needed to see the Occidental College transcripts and application materials that definitively prove Barack Obama registered as Barry Soetoro, foreign student of Indonesian citizenship! !! !!! And so, in the most hypothetical and not really actual sense, we drew up a press release that no one will ever find, called a press conference to which no journalists actually came, and somehow got the Associated Press to not write a news article that does not really exist, confirming it all. As our Executive Vice President for Paper Clips hypothetically put it, “Bwa. Bwa ha ha ha.”
I hate it as much as you Michelle but the law is the law.

I have no idea. I am confused on this. I wish it were true as I haven't been impressed with his leadership since he was in Illinois. I'm from Illinois. No one ever heard of him until he won the nomination. He has done little at the senate level, and what he has done was on the coat tails of another..
In other words, Michelle, the Supreme Court of the United States has pretty well settled the Birther issue by demanding that anyone insane enough to press this case in Federal Court will be fined, hard, for wasting that court's time. Enjoy!
