Some Germans are calling for a public roasting of the oracle octopus who correctly picked the winner of all six of their national soccer team's World Cup matches, including a bitter defeat to Spain on Wednesday.

It took him only three minutes to make up his mind....Normally he only picks Germany matches butÂ for the 'final' Sea Life made an exception. Officials at Sea Life in Oberhausen have installed extra security to protect their octopus. Even Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero was quoted in Spanish media reports saying -- in jest -- he was concerned about Paul's safety.

At least we are free from the clutches of human astrolgers.It needs to be an animal wirh eight hands to know the future, Man alas has only two hands busy in toiling and earning bread. It is foolish that octopus has psychic powers. Some crooked match fixer is making big money. Only time wud locate the man behind it.Now Holland is demoralised and Spain wud lift the world cup. It is a psychological and power triggered money game. Nothing Psychic about it.

I found that funny when I read about it on CNN the other day. I do hope Paul the octopus is wrong, because I would like to see Holland (the Netherlands) win.
