I was wondering why his name was Trending... Yeah Ringo. My son just said it "he doesn't look 70." That is for sure. Ringo is a young 70. We love him here at our house, along with The Beatles. Everytime Ringo is on tv, I record it and we watch it.

Several generations have sung along with those energetic Beatle lyrics - seems like Ringo and the others gave us permission to express, let it all hang out (he-he). Seeing him banging on those drums and the other three singing and moving with their music - timeless, hallmarks of our time. Deeper currents of freedom and the surfacing of truths, moving beyond the constraints of American rules and regulations - all seemed more possible after their appearance on the scene - Yow, Yow, Yow!!

so right. I met them in 1964, in vegas, and travelled back to L.A. via Portland and Vancouver. luckily we were all just friends, I didn't know about the Mann Act in those days! only 14!!

Just yesterday, my husband was watching an old movie with Victor Mature in it. I'd just read about your Mom and thought, "WOW - Georgiana's mom knew this timeless guy well!!" :-)

watching old movies with my parents was like seeing the guests at their party's. I would sit on Boris karloff's lap as a 4-5 or6 year old and when mum told me that was "Uncle Boris" as the Frankenstein monster I alwas rooted for the monster!

You comments are much appreciated. I had always been told, as I related anecdotes and tales I had heard from family or experienced first hand, that I should write a book, so I did. Not having any family left I find it like what other people would "tell their grand-kids", so, I am glad I have a wide circle of 'kids' to tell it to! lol
