If you haven't heard about the spicy "closure" interview that aired last night between former Bacheror Jake Pavelka and his now ex-fiance Vienna Girardi, you may want to make sure you're not living under a rock, because it's a hot topic in the reality TV world right now.
The former lovers' interview aired last night during "The Bachelorette" and it was dramatic and bitter, to say the least.
According to CBSNews.com, 32-year-old Pavelka explained how angry he was that Girardi, 24, sold her story to "Star" magazine. He also said that Girardi constantly undermined him during their short relationship. "She's like a tabloid. You get 40 percent of the truth," he said.
Girardi responded by saying that Pavelka is the "biggest fake liar ever" and claiming that he was also emotionally abusive to her. She said they never had sex during their entire relationship.
"My impression was that you were a pilot and we were going to go back to Florida and Dallas and live a normal life. Instead, we're in L.A. and you're pursuing a career in acting," Girardi said, explaining that she felt lied to her by her former boyfriend, reports CBS.
Ultimately, Girardi stormed off the set in tears after Pavelka snapped at her for interrupting him.
The Internet is abuzz today with lots of bloggers and fans of "The Bachelor" suggesting that Pavelka might be gay.
If one thing has been made clear from this whole fiasco, it's that true love, or affective relationships, cannot be created by TV producers. I mean, right? We all agree on that, don't we?
The question is, do you think Jake and Vienna didn't work out because they were under a microscope? Do you think your relationship could sustain the flashbulbs of Hollywood?
It's true that relationships, whether they're made-by-TV or not, take a lot of work. Frankly, I'm not sure my own currently happy, healthy relationship would work as well as it does if we had to answer to tabloids and be confronted with interrogating questions. Would yours?
