Being a reality TV star really seems to be paying off for Jersey Shore star, Vinny Guadagnino. The tamest of the Jersey Shore cast bought himself a new Mercedes E 550 recently.
Vinny, who stars in the MTV hit reality series Jersey Shore with other wild and crazy twenty-somethings, bought the car and couldn't wait to get into it. Who can blame him?Â
If you can make enough money just by being on a reality show to buy a Mercedes, then it makes sense why so many people are trying to get famous by being on shows like this. They turn you into instant celebrities, secure you clothing lines and rap albums (like Vinny's Jersey Shore castmate, Mike "The Situation") and offer you almost unlimited access to other opportunities within the entertainment industry. Who wouldn't want an opportunity like that when it seems so easy to attain? It amazes me how many people are willing to put themselves out there just to get their 15 minutes of fame. They have no shame, no regrets. It's all no holds barred television for these reality stars and I guess America likes it that way since reality TV shows are getting some of the best ratings. I always thought people wanted to escape reality when watching TV, not be sucked into someone else's so called "reality". Huh, Go figure...
