Crisis of Capitalism, The Critique

The problem is definitely not capitalism but its forceful mutation under the heavy hands of the state. This is what is truly despicable about the whole Hegelian dialectic -- they keep causing the problem, then blame something else entirely for the damage they are causing! Look at all the areas of the economy that are the least regulated, like electronics. They are obviously doing very well. But the areas of most regulation, like medicine, are absolutely atrocious! What we need to do is reduce government in a dramatic way so it doesn't have all these favors to give out to its corporate friends. I do think there is the possibility of another way of thinking, call it "people's capitalism" where citizens are more vested into the system. Like Alaskans get to benefit from oil resources. If we had something like this nationwide, also selling off a lot of federal resources, we could really do well. But we also need to restore sound money. Thanks for posting this!

What so many don't realize is that we have not had real capitalism or free markets for some time. Government regulation, in so many instances, is the problem, not the answer.
