Dean McDermott motorcycle accident - Tori Spelling's husband doing OK after ICU visit

Tori Spelling's husband Dean McDermott is reportedly in intensive care with a punctured and collapsed lung following a motorcycle accident. Reportedly, the reality TV star was dirtbiking with friends Tuesday and crashed. McDermott, age 43, was unable to move after the incident and was bleeding from his right side with a puncture wound.

Tori Spelling said about her husband's status: "He's in a lot of pain, He's taking this as a sign and realizing family is too important to risk his life." (PEOPLE)

According to Access Hollywood, Spelling has reported they expect Dean to make a full recovery. He'll just need to remain in the ICU for several days to make sure things go smoothly on his journey back to health. McDermott was able to thank fans for well wishes on his Twitter account, adding: "A collapsed lung is no fun, and is a lengthy heal. Feeling pretty bad today. This makes for McDermott's second accident on a bike this year.  McDermott has a good support system from his family though, including wife Tori Spelling.  Just several months ago Dean and Tori renewed their wedding vows in Beverly Hills. The couple who starred in their own reality TV shows, "Torie & Dean: Inn Love" and "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" have been married since May of 2006 when they eloped to the Fiji Islands. Together they have two children, Liam age 3 and Stella age 2.

Sounds like Dean McDermott will be ok despite this recent accident. Great news for Dean, Tori and family that he's on the road to recovery after the scare.
