Who Would Be The Perfect Sidekick For King James?

With free agency now in full swing and everyone trying to sign the top star Lebron James it got me wondering who would be a perfect sidekick for King James. In this class of free agents many interesting possibilities do come to mind. We can rule some of them out right away though. Dwayne Wade and James are close friends, but two superstars sharing the spotlight has never worked so that match would not be made in heaven. Another name is Paul Pierce and even though Pierce has a lot of respect for King James that is like mixing oil and water it will not happen in this lifetime.

Basically it narrows it down to three players in my mind. Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, and Amare Stoudemire. Let us take a closer look at each one and see how they would fit in with King James. Out of the three players probably Amare Stoudemire would be the least likely to be James sidekick. He is close to James size and has a similar type of game based on power. Him and James does not seem like a good fit. Now Chris Bosh and James would be a interesting tandem indeed. Bosh is a good scorer and rebounder and would compliment James very well no matter where he plays.

In the end though the best sidekick for Lebron James is Joe Johnson. Many people maybe shaking their heads at the thought of Joe Johnson. The truth is Johnson is in the mold of a Scottie Pippin. He can scored, rebound, and bring the ball up as well. He is a good overall player who does not need the limelight as much. This guy would be a perfect running mate for King James.
