Dakota Fanning at Twilight Eclipse Movie Premiere: Best Dressed Celeb not Kristen Stewart

If you didn't like Kristen's outfit that's fine but please don't try to diminish her role in the the Twilight franchise. She IS and has ALWAYS beeen the face of the the franchise not "supposed to be" like you said. Dakota dress was pretty and fresh but she changed nothing from her past looks...though Kristen kept her signature style of minis at least she changed from dark colors to a pretty white. Though Dakota's Christian Louboutin shoes were killer.

I was not trying to diminish Kristen Stewart's role in the Twilight movies and am fully aware of her being the face of the franchise, which is why it was mentioned. The main point of this post is about the fact that Dakota Fanning was dressed better than the star with the largest role in Twilight, which is Kristen Stewart.....at the movie's premiere.

Since Kristen Stewart is the star......wouldn't it be fitting for her to be the one with the most glamorous and best looking dress? This post was not about questioning whether or not Kristen Stewart is the "it-girl". She is and there is no question about that. This post was to highlight the imbalance of a star (Kristen Stewart) being out-shined by not only another actress who does not have the same type of impact that Stewart has in the Twilight franchise, BUT also being out-shined in a dress that was made by the same designer. I'd expect Kristen Stewart to receive and wear the best that the fashion industry has to offer since the movie premiere is her (and Robert Pattinson's and Taylor Lautner's, of course) moment.

I get what you are saying but the way you worded it in your article made it seem like you were questioning her importance in the franchise. But I do get what your are saying about it being fitting for Kristen to be the best dressed. Dakota's dress was pretty but this color does nothing for her at all because it is too close to her skin color. The most interesting thing about her outfit was her heels. Kristen's dress was either an "I love it!" or "I hate it!" with no room in between. She took a chance with this one shouldered- textured pattern piece by the same designer. Obviously you preferred Dakota's dress and that's fine but I disagree. You may think that Dakota showed Kristen up at the Eclipse premiere when all eyes were supposed to be on the "Big Three" but in all reality Dakota didn't steal any spotlight. Though Dakota never fails to impress, all eyes were still on Kristen, Taylor and Rob. It's a difference of opinion between you and I and that's okay with me because everyone is entitled their own opinion and I respect yours. Take care!
