Have you been hearing all of the complaints about the new iPhone 4? This is not looking good for Apple. Many customers are complaining about dropped calls, especially when the phone is held in the left hand. Isn't that pretty crazy? It has something to do with the iPhone 4 bottom-left corner touching your skin.
Others have said that touching the silver band around the outside of the device (which is actually the antenna) has caused interference with calls and eventually leads to the call being dropped.
Devices have also been having issues connecting to networks, which of course is not good since that means you can't make or receive calls! Everyone has really been excited about the new Apple iPhone but now that it's here things have changed.
Of course we all say, well if holding the phone or touching a certain part effects it then just hold it a different way. That's easier said than done. Who really thinks about the way they are holding their phone? Usually you are in a rush trying to answer the phone or see who it is that you don't even think that you have to hold it a certain way!
Good luck to everyone out there dealing with the issue and I hope that Apple deals with it in a time efficient manner.
If you have a new iPhone 4 how are you dealing?
If you don't have a new iPhone 4 are you thinking about getting one?

I think there are too many people crying out - mostly the other vendors because they just wish THEY had all these problems - like selling 1.5 million units at $199 or $299 on day 1 - long lines outside the stores.
Yes like any new device some of us early adopters will face a few issues, but that happens with every new product. That is the price to pay to get the first iPhone on the block.
Apple will fix these issues. I have had Apple products for over 15 years and never have they failed me.
