Yes!!! I am soooo loving Weight Watchers right now! I haven't felt this positive about the concept of "dieting" or losing weight ever!
I've had a pretty good week - at least until a couple of days ago. Been busy, on the go, but overall it's been easy to stay on track. I had planned to document/journal what I was feeling when I felt like eating things I shouldn't, but really didn't have much of an issue with that this week...until yesterday. Someone "attacked" me via email over my money-saving blog and said some very hateful and hurtful things. And I started wanting to eat junk. However, the success is that I didn't give in to it. Every time I started to want junk beyond what my points would have allowed for (I did have either a couple of oreos each day, or a Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich), I kept reminding myself that I want the weight loss more. And, I did it! I stayed away from the wrong choices even when I was emotionally distraught!
OK...so now for the "stats."
I lost another 2.8 lb this week!! Yay!
If you have missed my past posts and want to see them, here's the links:
Week 6 - down 0.2 lb
Week 5 - down 1.2 lb
Week 4 - down 2.8 lb
Week 3 - up 2 lb
Week 2 - down 2.4 lb
Week 1 - down 1.6 lb
Grand total - down 9 lb!
I don't recall a time in my life where I have ever consistenly lost weight week after week like this. Yes, I had the one week of going up 2 lb, but it wasn't surprising considering we were on our "staycation." And then last week had minimal loss, but I thought that was good considering it was PMS week!
My goal is to lose 1 lb per week. If I get more, I'm thrilled. If it's less, I'm still happy as long as it's going down! This will probably be at least 1.5-2 year journey for me to reach my goal, but I'm ready to do this for the long haul.

My friends who said anything that could go wrong would during a deployment weren't kidding! My neighbor said this is the first time in the 16 years he's owned his house that there's been flooding for any reason other than snow melting in March/April.
