Hey Moms!

Did you have another crazy, busy, tons-to-do kind of week? Do your weeks just go on and on and on? Well get ready to take some time for yourself and relax with other Gather Moms every Wednesday.

We’ll post a new article like this one each Wednesday and give you the chance to chill out and chat with your friends about the many things you experienced. Tell us what you did each day – where you took the kids, how you get quality time with your family, what you made for dinner, how many hats you wore, etc. This is your chance to just vent away and get some R&R for yourself!

To reward you for the amazing work you do for your family, we’ll be awarding two (2) Gather Moms who participate in each chat with 100 Gather Points™! Winners will be announced in this article’s comment thread the day after the chat.

same ole same ole with me....still fighting, thats all i can do. The numbnes/tingleing on my left side is getting worse and i sleep alot. I have a dr appt tomm in dallas to see what they can do about the numbness. It really bothers me that i cant type but with one hand..hehe
Other than that all is good.

I don't know what health problems you experience. But you should definitely check out the neck area for a bulging disk. I hope your Dr. visit goes well, and you only receive good news!

Rough couple of weeks. My kids have been out of school for over a month...Christopher graduated 6 weeks ago now. the kids are about bored. It's way too hot here, especially with the air conditioning not working quite right (can't afford to fix it). There is some weird pollen covering the truck that is what the doc thinks is causing my hives. Pher and I are both covered...I got 2 shots in the tush today to try to get rid of 'em. No one seems to know why so many people are having allergy issues this late in the season.

Oh, must be either braces or wisdom teeth.....Pher needs his wisdom teeth out, but we'll probably wait a bit longer per dentist recommendation.

Angela needs braces, but we can't afford them...Pher just got his off about 6 mo ago.

Anthony and Jessi got braces last month. They act like they are dying in pain...lol
They are being goofy, but it aint stopped them from eating everything that aint nailed down..
I take Andy next month to get his.

I can't imagine paying for 3 at the same time. At least here, braces run around $5000-6000....and insurance only pays $1500. Pher's were about $5100.

I got a discount cuz of it being 3 at the same time:) So that helped alot. Plus insurance picked up most of the tab.
I will end up paying about $1000 each kiddos when its all said and done:)

I'm worried about long term health effects too - especially for my daughter. Our house is only about 5 miles from the beach.

I think the health effects will be okay if you aren't actually around the mess....they are all natural products and by products at this point still.

Several people who are around the mess are already seriously ill. And since you can smell it in the air, we're breathing in the fumes. They are already telling people to stay inside as much as possible.
We're in Pensacola - a few blocks from the bay and a few miles from the Gulf.

It's heart-wrenching. Just saw some pics of a baby dolphin that they tried to rescue today - it didn't make it. So sad.

It was awful when my daughter was here, what a lazy butt she is. I was so happy to get her out of here! When I had babies I would have never left dirty diapers and unwashed bottles everywhere like she did...geez. Maybe she'll grow up in another 20 years.

I know what you mean. i can clean the house for 8 hrs top to bottom and it takes all but 10 mins to mess it up. I call her tornado cuz thats how the house looks after she's done. and then expects me to clean it up

And you'll probably have a much better choice of seats! We waited an hour in line (in the rain) for New Moon and ended up with front row seats. I HATE the front row! lol It was quite funny being part of the group that ran from theater to theater peeking in to see if there were any seats left. We were giggling like teenagers. (I'm 53. lol) All 12 theaters ended up filled.
