The tar balls are rolling up on our beautiful beaches. Â We've seen a few small ones before this, but these are the first large ones, and I've been told that there are tons floating in the ocean.
Not to mention the fumes, that are already making people sick.
I'm so sad and worried about what the long-term affects will be.
Additionally, BP doesn't seem to be very worried about the wildlife they are killing, and they are trying to remove a lot of them at night so they won't be counted. Â I've heard reports of them burning sea turtles and not even allowing others to go in and save them, and many other horror stories.

It's a terrible situation. I also heard that many of the animals that are cleaned up don't survive once released. Â
The affects that are happnening know are only the beginning sadly.
