Kim Kardashian has been in and out of the news of late, amidst rumors linking her to Justin Bieber, one story that, if true, has many questioning her judgment. That's not the only reason to question the reality star's judgment, however. Just last week, Kim sent out this twitter blast of a woman breastfeeding her baby in a restaurant:
"EWW Im at lunch,the woman at the table next 2 me is breast feeding her baby with no coverup then puts baby on the table and changes her diaper."
Later, realizing her faux pas in a society that is becoming increasingly supportive of breastfeeding, she added this:
"My sister breast feeds! Its a natural beautiful thing, there's nothing wrong w it, but she covers herself, not w her boobs exposed."
You'd think with one sister (Kourtney Kardashian) recently having a baby, and another (Khloe Kardashian) expecting, she'd have given a bit more thought to the repercussions of her statement, as well as being a bit more sensitive to the plight of mothers in general.
While she clearly did not consider the hordes of breastfeeding activists, or "lactivists" if you will, that would want her head on a platter after her tweet, Kardashian is not alone in her attitude towards mothers breastfeeding in public. While breastfeeding in general is supported as the healthiest and best way to feed infants, those that support it do not necessarily support breastfeeding in public.
My take? If it offends you, don't look. Would you rather listen to a screaming baby while you dine? What about when you fly? No? Alright then.

She has no room to make the comment that she made. Those things are for feeding babies, Kim. Really, that's what they are for.
