Cody Gifford Joins the Today Show (Video)

Cody Gifford is joining the Today Show as a summer intern, and will be doing summer movie reviews.

Remember when Live with Regis and Kelly was Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, and all we heard about was "Cody and Cassisdy, Cody, Cody, Cody.....?" Well, Cody Gifford is 20 years old now, and is film studies major at the University of SouthernCalifornia. He wants to direct movies after he graduates. In the meantime he'll review them for the Today Show.

So far, Cody Gifford has rated Toy Story 3 as "definitely a winner." Sex in the City 2 and Jonah Hex didn't receive nearly that much enthusiasm.

Cody will be working with his mom and co-host Hoda Kotbe on the Today Show's fourth hour. I expect great things from this young man. I just hope his mother can tone it down a bit when dealing with him on camera. While Kathie Lee Gifford can be a little over the top, I think she tends to go completely insane where her kids are concerned. But then again....don't we all?
