General Stanley McChrystal has been summoned to President Barack Obama’s office immediately. McChrystal is in hot water over a Rolling Stone magazine interview he gave in which he said he was not impressed with the President.
McChrystal is the top US Afghanistan commander. There are calls for him to resign over the comments. For his part, McChrystal has actually apologized for his ‘poor judgement’ during the interview.
Usually McChrystal has to attend the meeting via secure video teleconference. However, this month he must attend in person. He is going to have some explaining to do.
I suppose people have the right to their own opinion on people. However, I’m not sure it was okay for McChrystal to publically express his opinion when Barack Obama is the Commander in Chief. Unfortunately, his poor judgment is likely to cost him his job.
The video below shows the McChrystal apology. What do you think about this?
