There are people who are offended that Lindsay Lohan has chosen to play the role of Linda Lovelace in the movie ‘Inferno.’ Lohan will be in the film that is a biopic of the ’Deep Throat’ star, Linda Lovelace’s, rise to fame.
As expected, her father Michael Lohan is outraged that his daughter would play such a role. Of course, Lindsay Lohan has insisted that the film won’t be ’vulgar’ or too sexual in nature. It is hard to believe that, but I suppose it could turn out that way.
Her father thinks that this role as Linda Lovelace will end his daughter’s acting career for good. I’m not sure that’s a big worry honestly. Lindsay Lohan’s career is basically in the trash right now anyway.
Matthew Wilder is the director of ‘Inferno.’ Lohan insists that she will show how scared that Lovelace actually was rather than portray the raw sex and nudity. Lohan is happy to play a role where she can play someone who was a real person. She says her other movies were ‘brainless.’ I think she feels perhaps she will make a difference by portraying Lovelace. I’m not sure she wasn’t actually talking about herself there.
What do you think about Lindsay Lohan playing Linda Lovelace? Is it a mistake or a good thing? Or, does it even matter at all?
The video below shows more about the role.
