Amanda Bynes has called it quit with acting. This may not exactly be breaking news to most folks who don't even know who she is. For those of you who are my age, you may remember her from Nickelodeon's All That and the Amanda Bynes show. More recent work of Bynes, from this century at least, includes What a Girl Wants and She's a Man.
After about 15 years of acting, Amanda Bynes announced her retirement on her Twitter page. She's only 24-years-old, so it's a little curious she would decide to leave Hollywood so soon. Unless you're not getting any roles or have been carried off on a stretcher, not many people decide to quit out of thin air, especially at her age. For Bynes, the decision was simply a matter of no longer being happy with her career. "I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it," she said.
In addition to her retirement, Amanda also shared this tidbit of information on her Twitter page: "I like black men I'm very attracted to them just fyi." No shame in that. Now I want to keep an eye out to see who she might date next!
