The Twi-hards are begging for the full treatment of the next two installments in "The Twilight Saga", which will be "Breaking Dawn" parts 1 and 2. By full treatment, they want an R-rated Twilight movie which includes a lot of sex, just like Stephenie Meyer's novel. They also want to see the actual giving of birth done by Bella aka Kristen Stewart.

Unfortunately for those fans, it appears they won't get to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doing any serious babymaking in the fourth film or beyond. There may be some toned down steamy lovemaking though. The screenwriter for "Breaking Dawn" Melissa Rosenberg had a recent interview with The Los Angeles Times. She mentioned with regards to showing the gratuitous sex in Breaking Dawn: "For me it's actually more interesting to not see it. You know, you can do childbirth without seeing childbirth. ... It doesn't mean it's any less evocative of an experience." (LA Times)
It's obvious that Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight Saga wouldn't want an R-rating on these films, because that can lead to less ticket sales. The teens and tweens can still get into a PG-13 rated flick, so Rosenberg's treatment of the novel to a movie script sounds sensible. As for a Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart sex video, we'll have to wait to see if one gets leaked on the internet.."The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" has yet to be given an official release date, but "Twilight: Eclipse" hits theaters on June 30, 2010.
Here's author Stephenie Meyer giving thoughts on the Twilight Saga. Do you think that an R-rated Twilight Breaking Dawn movie would be better for the film, or should they stick with the PG-13?

I mean, obviously there was some steamy lead-up and some description of the after-mess LOL but nothing too graphic.
I don't think I'd enjoy it being graphic in the movie either. I know I wouldn't let my daughter see it even though she'll be about 15 years old probably by time the 1st of Breaking Dawn is released to theaters.
Yes, the baby birth scene was somewhat graphic.. gore wise anyway. I think there are going to be a multitude of ways for them to portray this on screen without viewers actually seeing the full "picture" and many ways for them to do this scene well.
Nope! We don't need rated "R" Twilight!
