Jackson, 48, was experiencing chest pains around noon on Tuesday. He was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena. Jackson is currently awaiting the outcome of tests, according to a source that is close to the Jackson family.
The Associated Press was told by the source that the doctors think Jackson suffered from a mild heart attack but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
This past Monday, Jackson was in court with his family for a hearing that involved the involuntary manslaughter case of Dr. Conrad Murray. Murray is accused in the connection of Michael Jackson's death. When Randy got to the court house after everyone else, he stopped to hug his parents, his brothers and sister La Toya before the hearing started.
In the last few weeks a series of Twitter posts, said that Randy Jackson has succeeded in stopping an unapproved tribute show that was planned on June 25 in Rome, the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Jackson said he has been talking to officials at Forest Lawn in Glendale to work something out to have fans admitted to the area near his tomb on the anniversary.
Jackson said that the post from fans have been a great source of comfort to him. He had this to say on his twitter page:
"At times, I'm sad & broken, but ur supprt helps 2 encourage me and fuel my motivation 2 continue this fight 4 truth&justice."
Prayers and good thoughts to the Jackson family during this time. Hopefully Randy will be ok and all the tests come back with good results
