After nearly 40 years of marriage, we were all shocked to learn that Al Gore and Tipper Gore were getting a divorce. I couldn't believe it because I just didn't think the former vice-president was that into women. Is it because I thought Al Gore was gay, as some recent reports have claimed? No way. I just didn't think he was really "doing it". Al Gore seems to be a fairly non-sexual person, don't you think? However, I do suppose anyone would come across a bit sexless after standing next to Bill Clinton for eight years.
The surprises keep on coming. Now Star Magazine is reporting that Al Gore had an affair for two years with Laurie David, Larry David's ex-wife! Congratulations Laurie. Now you will be forever known as Al Gore's sloppy seconds. No bragging rights there. Laurie David is denying rumors that she slept with Al Gore. Smart move. Once again, no bragging rights.
