Nintendo presented today at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, and they revealed an exciting new device, the Nintendo 3DS.
Nintendo started their presentation with remakes of classic games, like a Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword for Wii, and a new version of 007 for the Wii. Nintendo also unveiled a new Donkey Kong, as well as a Mickey Mouse game, Disney Epic Mickey.
After showcasing a few games, Nintendo moved on to their main event, the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo 3DS has a 3D screen that doesn't require you to wear any glasses. You can even control the level of 3D, or turn it off completely. The device has three camera lenses. Two facing outwards so that you can take 3D pictures, and one forward facing lens.
The 3DS also has wifi capabilities, and will be able to stream 3D movies. Nintendo also said that when a 3DS is near another 3DS, that game secrets will be unlocked, but I'm not exactly sure what that means.
There was no estimate on price or launch date.
