One Proud Grand Auntie!

My GREAT nephew Cody A Collins graduated last Thursday with the highest awards and honors in his class!

He already is enrolled in classes going towards his dreams in Law enforcement. With his knowledge and love of science this will probably be in forensic or a C.S.I. type of job. He is also thinking F.B.I. He has had a lot to go through in his life and all through anything shoved his way he kept perfect grades and attendance.

for on this day his eyeshines shone brighter than the sun

As I walk along the
sea coast
Memories come to mind
Of a very cherished childhood

Full of natures gems

Seeing my first rainbow
The forest at
twilight
Silvery stars, icing clouds
The sky blue pink of dawn

Building castles in the sand
Picking flowers wild
Seeing a red
gold sun appear
At dusk, see it go down

Child within me, for
me to show
These colors of the world
And to see your eye-shines
forming
Will be my great award

I wrote this watching my sisters first born child right after I found out I was having one of my own

It is wonderful to have watched him grow and choose his destiny! At first he thought of an archeologist but he has seen so much and reealy wants to help people

I've always thought I would have liked Archeology too. His career choice is a good one. I would not want to be in law enforcement and am glad there are people who do.
